Blogs are little different than the webpages we create using the web development languages.Blogs provides us a simpler and easier platform for creating webpages.Blogs must me updated daily or at a certain period of time inorder to get traffic and search engine visibility.

Blogger is a simple user friendly platform owned and operated by Google.
Creating a blog using blogger is quite easy.We just have to sign in using our google account then visit blogger.com and choose the option  create a blog and filling some credentials.It's not much harder.

Wordpress is a professional blogging platforms.Creating a blog on wordpress is also an easy task but creating a self hosted wordpress is much harder task.After setting up wordpress once it will be as easier as blogger.

To create a self-hosted wordpress you will need these two things.One is a domain name (for e.g facebook.com) which you can get at cheap rate from some popular sites like godaddy.com

And another component is a web hosting account.Hosting is the space for your blog posts,images,videos,links etc.You can get a web hosting account from hostgator.com
But they all are paid services which means you can only get the by paying them.

So let's get into the topic.Our topic was  To Create A Free Self Hosted Wordpress And Domain Name.I have described about blogs,blogger and wordpress above and also mentioned that self hosted

 wordpress needs investment which  new comers cannot provide.Follow my steps to create a self hosted wordpress along with a free domain name.

First of all you have to create a web hosting account.So,grab a free web hosting account from 000webhost.com.Visit 000webhost.com and click on signup for free option or button.

 Then you will be redirected to the signup page.Fill your email,password and website name.Check on I'm not a robot and click on get free hosting.


After that a confirmation mail will be sent to your email address.Click on 'click here to verify' as shown in figure.

Now you will be redirected to this page.Click on install now option.

Click on go to wordpress configuration page.You may face some problem after clicking on go to wordpress configuration files just click on installing now option and choose your desired language.

Fill up some credentials as your desire and click on install wordpress.

Finally it's time to login and manage your free self hosted wordpress.

 Everything is setup not everything still you need to create a domain name for our website or blog.The best choice would be choosing a free top level domain name.I recommend you to choose dot.tk

Dot.tk is a free top level domain registrar service having the extension .tk (for e.g yogeshdhakal.tk).It's users are growing day by day with it's premium service in free.Dot.tk operated by freenom.com

1.Go to freenom.com and type your desired domain name and click on check avaibility.

2.Choose the domain name with the extension ending with .tk by clicking on get it now and click on checkout option at right upperside.

Now set the domain period to 12 months @ free and click on continue.

Choose any option to signin as you prefer.You are done!

Now you are ready to run a free self hosted wordpress and a free domain name.

2. Click on change web address.
